1. What is the difference between Ohio Outdoor Structures and Amish Country Barns?
You can visit, in person, the Ohio Outdoor Structures Outlets. There are many products for you to see, touch and compare while having a knowledgeable sales representative to answer all your questions.
While some products in the Amish Country Barns & More store you will find at our Ohio Outdoor Structures Sales Outlets, many items are not on display at our OOS Outlets due to logistical reasons or our limitation of space. However, all items can be purchased through Ohio Outdoor Structures.
2. Where are the prices?
We show prices on our website when we are able to. Please note that posted prices may change without notice. If prices are not posted, it is probably due to one of the following reasons: 1)Some products are not available everywhere, therefore the manufacturers request pricing not be posted online. Or, the product is available nationally and prices vary by region, therefore the manufacturers request pricing not be posted online. 2)Prices may vary from region to region due to the cost of freight. So, rather than cause confusion by posting prices that may not be accurate for your region, Ohio Outdoor Structures sale representatives will gladly give you a quote in person, over the phone, or email you a quote when your contact information is supplied.
3. Do you deliver to areas outside of Ohio?
Yes and No depending on what product we are talking about. Many of the manufacturers that Ohio Outdoor Structures represents does business outside of Ohio. Some items can be shipped to anywhere in the United States. Please contact any of our Ohio Outdoor Structures Outlets for more information.
4. What do I need to know about ground or site preparation?
The answer to this question varies slightly with each manufacturer that O.O.S. represents. With most manufacturers, ground preparation is the responsibility of the customer and needs to be completed prior to the arrival of the purchased product. There are a few exceptions, so please be sure to discuss this with your sales representative.
5. How long will it take to receive the product I purchased?
Every manufacturer is different, it could be a few days or several weeks. Your OOS salesperson will discuss with you the "lead time" (amount of time it will take to get your purchase) and the delivery process. Please be aware that Ohio Outdoor Structures will inform you to the best of our ability based on what the manufacturer has told us, however, each manufacturer has their own scheduling department and will work with you directly.
6. Do I need a building permit for an outdoor structure?
Sometimes yes and sometimes no. All manufactures say that is the responsibility of the customer to check and see if any permits are necessary and if so, to obtain them prior to the arrival of your new purchase. If you need help obtaining a permit, our manufacturers are happy to help, just ask!
